Water Element Workshop

BOOK NOW

Join Anna Bernard for a morning of slowing down, reconnecting with yourself, and taking those first steps to create a life that you love.

This three-hour workshop will consist of mindful movement, restorative meditation, and a group mentoring. We will learn how to work with the Water Element - rather than against it. We will talk about burnout and the ways it can affect us, and learn more about how to use our resources so that we can put ourselves front and centre.

But what is the water element?

Winter is a transformational time in Five Element theory, even though seemingly nothing is happening. In nature, all the energy is going on under the ground at this time of year and we are hibernating, ready to burst into Spring with a new remit for our existence. The emotion associated with the WATER element is fear: fears of getting through the season and through life. Water is also associated with our will and our wisdom, both inherent and earnt.

You can read more about the Five Elements on my website.

The Metal Element Workshop

Autumn, the season of the Metal element, is a time when nature shows us how to release and let go. Metal is often associated with grief, but really, grief is love with nowhere to go. At its core, the Metal element is about connection: to ourselves, others, ideas, and even our values. Throughout history, we’ve created rituals to honor our endings, yet, in today’s fast-paced world, especially in Western society, we’ve lost touch with this essential practice.

In this Metal Element Workshop, we’ll not only honor and process your grief but also help you uncover your deepest values: the compass that can guide you toward a life of greater integrity, meaning, and balance. Together, we will explore how releasing what doesn’t serve you can create space for aligning with what truly matters, so you can live with a renewed sense of clarity and purpose.

  • Would you like to reconnect with your true self and core values?

    • Are you holding on to past sorrows that keep you from fully living in the present?

    • Do you feel like your grief is not worthy of space, or that you should simply “move on”?

    • Is your grief so overwhelming that you don’t know where to begin, or are you unsure of what you truly value anymore?

    Description text goes here

  • Description In this workshop, you’ll learn to:

    • Honor and acknowledge your grief as a transformative force

    • Release what’s blocking your path to personal freedom

    • Identify and reconnect with your core values

    • Create a life that feels aligned with your true self, full of integrity and purpose

  • When your Metal energy is in balance, life feels inspired and meaningful. In Chinese medicine, the Lungs and Large Intestine are the organs connected to this element, guiding the cycle of taking in and letting go. But holding onto baggage such as shame or grief interrupts our emotional flow. It’s time to release what no longer serves us, reconnect with our values, and live from a place of purpose and integrity.
