earth
As we transition into late summer, we enter the season of the EARTH element: a time of harvest, sustenance, support, and understanding. During this period, much like the harvest itself, we inevitably find ourselves asking on every level: Is there enough? The Earth element teaches us that we must first nurture ourselves before we can give to others. Caring for our own well-being grounds us, bringing balance. When we are centred, we can stand firm, secure in the knowledge that we are enough and that we have enough.
When the Earth element is out of balance, it can create a deep fear of scarcity - the fear that there won’t be enough food, money, or love. This fear can spiral into excessive worry, leaving us feeling overwhelmed and exhausted. Trusting that we have enough, and that we are enough, is vital for our sense of stability and security.
Do you feel nourished by life? By your job, your relationships, or your inner world? Overeating or undereating may be a way of compensating for a deeper sense of being undernourished. Are you pushing yourself too hard, or constantly prioritizing the needs of others? Do you carry unprocessed life experiences, weighed down by emotional baggage? Are you caught in a cycle, unable to break free and move forward in your life?
Let me help you learn to ask for your own needs to be met, and to truly feel nourished by life. Imagine roots extending down, feeling increasingly grounded and connected to the nurturing energy of Mother Earth. From this place, you will always know that you are enough: and that you have enough.
